Industrial Visit to Janatics India Pvt. Ltd.
As part of JIDO’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practice, an industrial visit was organized to Janatics India Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of pneumatic and industrial automation solutions. The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to modern manufacturing processes and real-world automation technologies, enabling them to understand the practical applications of pneumatic systems in industry. Participants explored various automation setups, including automatic bus door mechanisms, conveyor-based sorting systems, and vacuum suction technologies, gaining valuable insights into industrial efficiency, safety, quality control, and material handling. Through interactive demonstrations and facility tours, students witnessed how automation is implemented in modern industries, making the visit a highly enriching experience that strengthened their understanding of industrial automation and its role in enhancing productivity and innovation.

From Schematic to Solid was a three-day hands-on workshop conducted as part of DASTAAN, the national-level multifest, in collaboration with Autodesk. The workshop provided participants with a complete hardware product development experience, guiding them through the process of designing electronic circuits, creating professional PCB layouts, and developing custom product enclosures using Fusion 360. Participants learned industry-standard design methodologies, PCB routing techniques, component placement strategies, and enclosure design principles while gaining practical exposure to CAD tools and prototyping workflows. By integrating PCB design with mechanical enclosure development, the workshop enabled students to understand how electronic and mechanical systems come together to form a complete product. The event offered valuable industry-relevant skills and hands-on experience, empowering participants to transform innovative concepts into well-engineered, manufacturable hardware solutions.

About Drone Workshop
The Drone Workshop was a two-day immersive learning program conducted during Aarohan, designed to introduce school students to the exciting world of unmanned aerial systems and drone technology. The workshop was organized in two categories—Junior (Classes 6–8) and Senior (Classes 9–12)—allowing participants to learn at a pace suited to their level of understanding. Bringing together students from numerous schools, the program combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience through interactive sessions on drone fundamentals, aerodynamics, components, and applications. Participants explored drone flight simulators to understand control mechanisms and navigation, attended live demonstration sessions featuring real drones, and gained firsthand flying experience under expert guidance. By blending education, technology, and hands-on learning, the workshop provided young learners with an engaging introduction to emerging aerospace technologies while fostering curiosity, innovation, and STEM-based problem-solving skills.

Synchronex is a multidisciplinary automation challenge organized by JIDO that takes participants on an exciting journey from coding and simulation to hardware implementation and robotics. Designed to test problem-solving, programming, and engineering skills, the event combines virtual drone navigation, Python-based logic challenges, Arduino prototyping, and robotic arm control into one immersive experience. Working in teams of 2–4 members, participants will tackle real-world automation scenarios, collaborate across disciplines, and compete for a prize pool of ₹10,000. AI Automata is an innovative technical challenge that seamlessly integrates Automation, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Full-Stack Development into a single end-to-end problem-solving experience. Designed to simulate real-world industrial scenarios, the event challenges participants to progress from developing automation logic and hardware simulations to building intelligent fault detection systems using machine learning and industrial sensor data. Teams are required to analyze complex datasets, identify and resolve data quality issues, develop and evaluate predictive models, and ultimately deploy their best solution through a functional web application. By combining analytical thinking, engineering design, AI-driven decision making, and practical implementation, AI Automata provided participants with a comprehensive platform to showcase their technical expertise while solving industry-inspired challenges through intelligent automation.

Static to Synaptic: The Hydraulic Heist is JIDO's mechanical engineering challenge that pushes participants to transform simple materials into a fully functional hydraulic robotic system powered entirely by fluid dynamics. Inspired by the principles of Pascal's Law, teams must design, build, and optimize a multi-axis hydraulic mechanism using cardboard, syringes, and tubing—without the aid of electronics, motors, or batteries. Through a series of engineering challenges and a final obstacle-course trial, participants will experience the fundamentals of mechanical design, force transmission, precision control, and real-world problem solving. Combining creativity, teamwork, and hands-on engineering, this event offers an exciting opportunity to explore the power of hydraulics while competing to build the most efficient and reliable robotic system under pressure.
